Mischa Barton just got restraining orders against two ex-boyfriends for sex tapes, and SHE’s the one feeling embarrassed?

Someone please explain this to me

Earlier this week, Mischa Barton had to get a sex tape restraining order against not one, but two of her ex boyfriends — Jon Zacharias and Adam Shaw — one or both of whom she believed to be peddling a sex tape of her for $500k.

The action aimed at preventing them from selling or leaking it to the highest bidder online.

This comes just one day after a bunch of nasty men hacked female celebrities’ iClouds and leaked their nudes online — again. Bearing a chilling similarity to the iCloud nude photo leak of 2014, more commonly referred to as, “the Fappening”.

According to court documentation, Barton started dating Jon last October and says he took videos of them having intimate relations, photos of her naked in the shower, and other videos and photos of her unclothed — you know, normal photos that people in relationships often take of one another because they trust their partners.

But for some reason, this has now become a judgment on her character — an argument about “the kind of women who take photos/videos like that”, and instead of turning our attention to the men allegedly selling these tapes, we’ve turned or anger towards Barton because she was a woman being sexual, within the confines of her own home, with a man she thought she was in an honest relationship with.

She has since been on record saying this is her “worst fears” come true. But turn to the man on your left, turn to the man on your right, and ask them what their worst fear is. I guarantee their answer will be different from hers.

If one of these exes had photos of her, I’m sure she had photos of him as well. But, if asked about his worst fears, I doubt he’s respond with, “Mischa releasing my sex tapes”.

This is domestic abuse — it is a crime that’s been turned on Barton as a form of slut shaming. Barton should not be the one embarrassed about this leak. This should never be something a victim feels is weighing on them, and it should never be something they feel is their fault.

The leak of these sex tapes has nothing to do with Barton, and everything to do with the men leaking them.
