UPDATE: Taylor Swift is doubling down on the creepy snake posts leading up to her new single release

UPDATE:

Taylor swift just dropped another snake into the pit, with a new cryptic video teasing her single.

And according to US Weekly sources, that new single will be dropping this Friday.

As of yesterday morning, the Swift social media hiatus is officially over — and literally nobody has even one fucking clue what it means.

This woman made us all wait three years for a video without sound, and we are still absolutely shitting ourselves. It’s official, she’s a legend. We thought this album was going to be about time and space, but in typical Taylor fashion, she decided to throw a twist in there.

So what’s the song going to be? Shadow snakes? Venom?

Last week Swift blacked out all of her social media, and conspiracy theorists everywhere went into meltdown mode.

While some were analyzing the color of black, saying the blues and greens involved meant we should expect something planetary, others were on about the time theme, thinking she’d probably drop something yesterday because of the eclipse.

Even her Pinterest page was gone with the wind.

But now she’s back, and fans (and non fans) everywhere are losing it

Our girl is finally reclaiming ‘snake’

Even if she had to outshine the eclipse to do so

Wonder which snake it will be.
