Ok, so we’re getting a Freaky Friday remake but there’s a HUGE catch

There's not, and never will be, a more iconic Disney remake than Freaky Friday. A movie that caused a generation of girls to grow up with a weird desire to switch bodies with their mom should not and really CANNOT be slept on. Not to mention, Jamie Lee Curtis should've won an Oscar for going so punk. Her dedication to the role was inspirational.

If you've been missing the best film to ever grace The Walt Disney Company, I have some really good news: Freaky Friday is getting a remake. And you won't even have to pay for it. It's going to be on Disney Channel.

But guys, I also have some really, really shitty news: it's going to be a TV musical. Apparently, there was a Freaky Friday musical that did really well and they're running with it. Thankfully, they've signed Broadway's Heidi Blickenstaff to play the mom, so the music shouldn't like completely suck.

Still, idk, how good can a Lindsay Lohan movie be without Lindsay Lohan? I guess I'll be tuning in to check it out, even if the modern Disney Channel make me want to cry.

The kids today will never understand what it was like to watch That's So Raven and Lizzie McGuire back-to-back…smdh.
