Harvey Weinstein is reportedly calling himself a ‘savior’ for sexually assaulting and harassing women

We thought it was absurd yesterday when Kevin Spacey came out as gay, to try and distract us from sexual misconduct allegations against him, but apparently people will say any stupid thing to get themselves out of a corner.

Since, Harvey Weinstein has one upped Spacey, with Page Six saying he's declared himself a "martyr for social change," now that new accusers have come forward, expanding sexual assault claims against him all the way back to the '70s.

Despite being under criminal investigation in multiple cities, Weinstein reportedly views himself as a “savior” who is going to “change the world.”

What's more, he believes he was sent to us to take some greater hit for humanity; a Hollywood insider told Page Six Weinstein has been telling confidants “he was born to take the fall for his behavior in order to ‘change the world.’ He is resigned to his punishment — as a martyr for social change.”

Sexual assault accusations aside, this would be a heightened kind of God complex even for Kanye. But for someone whose accusations range from forced oral sex to breaking, entering and raping, this deus ex machina mindset is not only deluded — it's horrifying.

How many more men will read these words and convince themselves of the same thing?
