This girl’s dad made her chop off her hair after getting highlights for her birthday

I’M SO ANGRY

Christin Johnson shared photos of her daughter on Facebook after she says the girl's father forced her to cut off all her hair because she got highlights for her birthday.

Christin's daughter, Kelsey, asked her mom for blonde highlights for her birthday, before visiting her dad and stepmom for the weekend. When she returned home, she no longer had any of her hair.

In her Facebook post, Kelsey's mom wrote, "This is what my daughter looked like Sunday when I took her home, and the other two pics is what happened today before she was brought to me… all over me having highlights put in her hair for her birthday!"

Now she's rocking a wig

Thanks to the Facebook post gaining traction from angry commenters, a local salon helped Kelsey out and got her set up with a wig not dissimilar from what her hair looked like before the highlights.

Kelsey's father and stepmother, both volunteers at the local fire station have been placed on leave pending further investigation into their home lives.
