Ed Sheeran was on Game of Thrones last night and fans are really confused

Why you gotta ruin this, Ed?

The first episode of Game of Thrones Season 7 premiered last night and for an hour fans left reality and entered a fantasy world we’ve been waiting for for what seems like a lifetime.

Until Ed Sheeran showed up and ruined that fantasy. About 40 minutes into the episode Arya comes upon a group of soldiers and we hear a soft, soothing voice singing.

We were all Arya in this situation, wondering what was actually ahead

No, we think, it couldn’t be.

No…

But, it was.

Still not 100 percent convinced at this point

Ed fucking Sheeran.

Ed’s first words were “It’s new” as if he was trying to sell us his latest album.

Ed’s on screen appearance only lasted three minutes, but it will be remembered forever by GoT fans.
