Rihanna just cost Snapchat almost a BILLION dollars over that ad debacle

The #RihNavy is here to save the day

No disrespect to the United States military, but the Rihanna Navy is literally more powerful than the real Navy, Air Force, Army, and Marines combined.

And no, that is not hyperbole!

Snapchat really fucked up

Earlier this week, everyone's least social media Sn*pchat approved an advertisement for a third-party app that let users choose to slap domestic violence victim and global superstar Rihanna.

So of course Rihanna ended their lives

Miss Fenty, never one to parse words, issued a statement on her Instagram Story (LOOOOL DOUBLE-DRAG!) and suggested that all 8 billion of her fans delete the app:

"Now SNAPCHAT I know you already know you ain't my fav app out there! But I'm just trying to figure out what the point was with this mess!" the singer wrote. "I'd love to call it ignorance but I know you ain't that dumb. You spent money to animate something that would intentionally bring shame to DV victims and made a joke of it."

She concluded with, "Gotta throw the whole app-ology" away, and we love to listen to our mother.

She instructed all 60 million Instagram followers to delete the app, so that's exactly what we did

Celebrity Navy did it:

And so did us regular-shmegular Navy sailors (me included):

And now, Snapchat lost 5 percent of their shares

Snapchat's stocks PLUMMETED after Rih's post, losing 5 percent of shares in less than a day:

Experts estimate the face value lost at around $800 million! This is an especially difficult blow to the app after Kylie cost them $1.7 billion in value for correctly tweeting that Snapchat is shit now.

Next up, Rihanna needs to launch FentyChat with better filters and no stupid-ass advertisements making fun of personal tragedy.
