Here’s how to tell if he’s still using Tinder behind your back

Rule 1: Trust nobody

I don’t care how long you’ve been dating somebody. Somewhere in the back of your mind, you still wonder if they talk to their exes or if they think about other people, and spoiler alert: They definitely do. We all do.

The temptation is never gone; the desire to explore other things is instinctual and probably has nothing to do with you as a partner. So that’s why you shouldn’t be surprised to find out your S.O. is still on Tinder. Have you ever actually asked them if they removed the app from their phone?

Of course, you may have convinced yourself it’s there but “they’re not actually using it,” but do you really believe if someone messaged them on it they wouldn’t be curious? Even if they aren’t going out and meeting people from it, they might still be chatting — checking out other options.

That’s why Swipe Buster is the invention our anxious generation needs. The app allows you to select who you want to swipe for, where they probably last used Tinder, and it’ll find their profile for you. It will also tell you the last time they logged on, and whether they’re seeking men or women.

“Not only are people oversharing and putting out a lot of information about themselves, but companies are also not doing enough to let people know they’re doing it,” the anonymous site’s creator told Vanity Fair. The app sources the information from Tinder’s application programming interface which holds all of this information about its users.

Even if you’re sure they’re not using it anymore, or if you met your SO in person, don’t you kind of want to know what their Tinder self is like? It’s like your Instagram self versus your LinkedIn self — they’re all different.

Are there photos of them holding fish? Or my personal favorite, blocking out the image of another girls face with the text “This could be you” over it.

Because if there are, maybe it’s time you dump them.
